Our Executive

Ninti One's Executive comprises the managing director, and the general managers of our three business units: Business Innovation, Business Development and Business Operations.
The Executive meets weekly via teleconference, and a minimum of eight times a year face-to-face.
![]() | Rod Reeve, Managing Director Rod Reeve has spent 30 years working internationally and in Australia to become a world leader in international development. He has been the General Manager of over 600 staff in a publicly-listed Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) firm, responsible for the implementation of major aid programs for the governments of Australia, the UK, the US and the World Bank. He has enjoyed many hands-on leadership roles for significant nation-building activities such as being the Director of Australia’s 10-year program for the reconstruction of Iraq, the Director of a 10-year health program in eastern Indonesia that reduced maternal and infant mortality, the Director of the UK government’s main peace-building program in northern Pakistan; as well as being Director of several long-term employment programs in Nigeria, Indonesia and the Philippines. |
| Dr Kevin Williams, General Manager Research, Evaluation and Impact Kevin has held research management and executive roles in various organisations in Australia, New Zealand and the UK. He is currently the General Manager for Research, Evaluation and Impact for Ninti One and CEO of the Cooperative Research Centre for Remote Economic Participation, on secondment from the University of South Australia where he holds the position of Associate Professor. Prior to this role, Kevin was the inaugural Director of the Northern Territory Centre for Renewable Energy and the Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Territory Natural Resource Management Board. He was previously the founding leader of the Plant and Pathogen Molecular Genetics group at the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI), part of the CRC for Molecular Plant Breeding. He subsequently led the SARDI Biofuels research group and established the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy Algae and Biofuels Facility in Adelaide. Kevin holds a Bachelors Degree in Horticulture, a Masters in Biotechnology, and a PhD in Plant Molecular Genetics. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. |
| VALE Dr Steve Blake, General Manager Research, Innovation and Quality The Board and staff of Ninti One and the Cooperative Research Centre for Remote Economic Participation are extremely saddened by the news of the passing of our friend and General Manager, Research Innovation and Quality, Dr Steve Blake. We send our deepest condolences to Steve's wife Janine and his three daughters, of whom he was so proud. We will miss Steve's passionate contribution to our work in remote Australia. |
| Fran Kilgariff AM, General Manager Operations Fran served as Mayor of Alice Springs for almost eight years. Her experience in local government and regional economic development brings a profound understanding of the issues faced by remote communities. She also worked at executive levels with the Northern Territory Department of Housing, Local Government and Regional Services, and Regional and Indigenous Economic Development. |
| Lyn Allen, General Manager Business Development With over decade of working for the Northern Territory and Queensland governments, Lyn has extensive experience in policy and operation management in the areas of environment, heritage, arts, Indigenous affairs, housing and regional development. Previously, Lyn worked in the not-for-profit sector at local, national and international levels, and has managed research institutions and advocacy organisations. She has a long-standing commitment to the wellbeing of the people and environment of remote Australia and is an enthusiastic advocate of collaborative practice to achieve change. |
